JULO Brings Home Three International Awards at the Asia FinTech Awards 2024
JAKARTA - September 4th, 2024 | JULO, a leading Indonesian fintech company has once again made its mark on the global stage by winning three prestigious awards at the Asia FinTech Awards 2024. These awards recognize companies across Asia that have delivered outstanding innovation, solutions, and positive contributions to society.
The international recognitions were presented in Singapore, where JULO was honored with the titles of Data Initiative of The Year, Best Employer of The Year, and Team of The Year. JULO stood out as the only Indonesian fintech firm to win in these categories, surpassing competitors from across the Asia-Pacific region tech players, including Airwallex, TerraPay, Synechron, Hugosave, MyComplianceOffice, and IDEMIA.

Martijn Wieriks, Chief Data Officer of JULO, expressed that the Data Initiative of The Year award is a testament to JULO’s innovative approach to understanding user feedback and needs, transforming them into better product and service offerings. “We are proud that this award recognizes our AI-driven Customer Insights initiative, which is developed by combining a Large Language Model (LLM) with traditional Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques. This allows us to process user reviews on Google Play Store in real-time and identify customer feedback and issues to assist our team in improving, refining, and developing products to provide better solutions for JULO users,” Martijn explained.
In addition to the Data Initiative of The Year award, JULO was recognized with two other significant accolades: Best Employer of The Year and Team of The Year. The expert panel from the Asian technology and finance industries praised JULO for its exemplary human resource management, which emphasizes and fosters a balance between professional and personal life.
